37.5 front/32.5 +/- 2.5 is pretty good with #5 pistons IMO.

yes, im pretty sure 8th scale esc's can handle up to 6s. But with 550 motors dont go over 3s depending on the kv, what motor are you looking into?

Most 1/8th ESC's will run 2S lipo's no problem. It's been the preferred route by quite a few of us.

Ya we will hit peg, I don't think there will be enough to race though, jbrl is this weekend and since r/4 of our club racers race jbrl it will be a slow day.
Hmmmmm chicks in bikinis or rc cars??????
Hopefully the scte will be ready. My fingers are crossed. Still waitin for a check in the mail so I can get a big dog servo. I also want to try out that 3800 castle motor. Hopefully get a little more run time than my 4.5

Anyone know if the Losi 8ight standoffs will work? If so, I may be going with these titaniums by Lunsford!

If not, I'll be going with these then, at least they're a lot cheaper :/

The Losi 8ight stand offs are 4mm, the stock SCTe stand offs are 3mm. You can mount them, just need to drill the mounting holes on the shock towers to 4mm.

Thanks, yeah I've got the Carbon towers, I dont want to compromise the strength of them. Hopefully Lunsford will make some for the SCTE eventually.
