We are working on some parts similiar to what the 8ight offers...just to wet your whistle, lol. I cannot say exactly but they will save weight in a very important way. Also, the 8ight titanium turnbuckles fit this car and save nearly 16 grams as well.

I ran 3 quals and 1 main yesterday. The qualifiers where 6 minutes. At the end of the runs I was dumping 2250mah back into the pack (no practice laps). For the main it took 2500mah total. I was using a Tekin 5.5 with the RX8 43/14T.

It will depend on conditions of course but I did a 10 min race on a 5000 pack about a month ago. Losi sells a 6000mah pack I have no doubt will go 10 easy under most conditions. The 8000 pack will fit. There is plenty of room in this car for a large battery.

Awesome thanks!

Most of you here are running 2s setups correct?

My track has an open 4x4 SC class so I am not held down by the restrains of 2s regs and rules. Currently my 810 that is in the works will either run a 22oo MMM or a 2650 MMM I can not decide. I ran the 22oo and a XERUN 150 when it was the Ten T truggy, but I am thinking that that was super over kill, as would be the 2650 on 3s. I am seriously thinking about running the 810 and this this season. So 2s looks like a possibility, maybe 2s or 3s with the Castle SCT pro system.

Anyone here running a larger set up?

Maybe I missed it - but will this truck have metric or standard hardware?

*crosses fingers for metric*

I don't know if I got a bad set of rear diff out drives, but my 1400kv Tekin/5s in my 810 destroyed mine after about 3 races and 3 practice days. The torque is overkill in the car since it is so light. You really don't need much more than a 550 sized motor. The 1512 sized cans run very cool though and great run times. Mine is barely above room temperature after 20+ minutes of running.

My friend runs the Castle SC 1410 in his 810e and it works perfectly. Cool temps and very efficient. I'd probably recommend the Castle 1415 for the SCT version though.

Did you take a peek at the pins in the diff's? I am about to buy some spares from Horizon but want to make sure they are the hardened pins.

I just peeked at mine, I have three full days on the diff cups and they are getting pretty toasted (rears are worst). I believe Ryan mentioned the pins in the diff and the cups are now harder on the release of the production truck, but what about the parts they have available now? I would like to replace them now in case they fail.
