Losi 1/10 TEN-SCTE ARR 4x4 Short Course Truck Thread
I went ahead and got the tekin pro4 4600kv for now anyways I have two races next week will probably get the revtech when I get to AZ, I saw the 7200kv might consider that for touring car for speed runs and fun I think thats wayyyyy too much motor for anything else
I think the 4800kv is perfect for the losi on 2s should have some nice top end and enough torque to fly around the track.

Whats better? Savox 1257 ultra speed? Or the 1258?

I see a lot of guys running the Tekin pro4 4600KV, is there a thread more dedicated to the Tekin Pro4 line of motors? I have looked and didn't see one.
Thanks in advance.

Chris, what does your toe out look like in the front? I dont have a gauge to set the front but mine are just barely out when looking at it. When the balls get sloppy and the toe out goes out farther the truck gets really squirrly. Then I just close them back in till it feels right.

I'm running 0-1 degrees. Not much at all.
I think it just comes down to driving style. I tend to do better with a truck that is neutral or slightly under steers. I also do better with a truck that is slightly underpowered. I tend to over control the truck when the adrenaline gets flowing.
I've been working on my SC-R setup for 6 months and finally found the right setup and tire combo. I dropped almost a full second off my fast lap on the same track. Now that I have the handling down I'm going to motor up a little and see if I can keep it under control.
I looked at the SC10 4x4 saddle pack thread and those guys are running a 45/55 weight distribution on their trucks. Some of those guys are running alot of ballast weight to get their trucks up to 6.5 lbs or so. The SC10 4x4 is the truck to beat on our track at the moment.
I made a new battery/ESC tray last night. I put the ESC in front of the battery. The tray has three sets of mounting holes so I can get anywhere from .5" to 1.5" farther back than the stock tray. I'll post some pictures when I get it completed. It should give me a 47/53 weight distribution. I may just keep adding weight to my truck too. I'm close to 6 lbs right now. That's 8-12oz lighter than the guys with the stock trucks and they seem to be doing fine on my track.
I plan to go practice tomorrow. I'll report my findings when I get done.

How so? Below is a quote from the manual. Granted the link does not work. But I can say based on experience I sent one in with no receipt & got a brand new one back without question?
