Maybe stick with the slash until you get a basic handle on bold fonts, punctuation, spelling, and grammar.

I have both cars and thought they would fit, should have bought the SCTE first as the SCTE wheels fit fine on the SC10 4x4

I just checked the part numbers of the DE Racing wheels that I had on the SC10 4x4 that don't work propoerly on the SCTE, I am talking about DE Racing part DER-SCT-A4B from Amain.

Still not getting the hang of commas, periods and "your" vs. "you're" huh? It's ok, I'll tell you what...why don't you ask the same question in the sc10 4x4 thread and see what they recommend? Or maybe try the slash 4x4 thread where they will all thell you it's all driver.

Of course Losi drivers are going to recommend the Losi.

come on that was kinda funny

i've driven both...i prefer the SCTE and I'll tell you why.

1) the SCTE is .75 lbs heavier. This has its drawbacks (battery runtime) but...in this class bumping is common. When people bump into the SCTE, they bounce off. The truck stays put. the weight also helps with the parachuting associated with short course trucks.

2) the center of gravity is lower on the SCTE, it can take turns better for me. not saying others can't control the torque rolls in the SC10 4x4, but i had issues with it.

3) the battery tray....good luck getting anything bigger than a 5000mah 2S into the batter tray on the SC10. What a pain in the butt that thing is.

im no Losi fan boy. My 2wd is an SC10

+1, but I have not driven an SC10 4WD. Have you seen the layout on one yet? Think about how easy it is to swap a pinion out on one of those. What about the servo? The diffs? Compare them to the Losi's.

On the track, read the above. Other 4WDs bounce off of you. They're in the way? Shove them aside if they're lapped traffic and won't let you pass.

Note that all my other vehicles are AE. I wanted the SC10 4WD initially, but then I did some research and ended up with a Losi.

Uncalled for

On a sidenote, traxxas is toy grade to me, and outdated. It shouldn't be a hard choice.

I am the project manager for this truck. The stock tires will be just ok on outdoor dry clay. Something really to just run the truck with until you get to the track and find out what tires they are using for racing and pick soem of those up.

I found the stock tires to be pretty dang good for all around/practice. Have you seen what the sc10 comes with..... Why do they even bother.

Yes i use those as well as the De racing wheels for the SCTE. and no issues. I know you do have to dremel out the ribs on the proline wheels but the De racing wheels fit fine on my trucks.
