Now, what I would like to know, after about 9 months or so off the losi car, what new developments in regard to setups has arisen in the time that I have been away?

what has been found to cure the forward bite situation?

who's setup is the most forgiving to drive? I remember dustin evans spektrum setup, and it was not easy to drive......

please dont make me go back to my B4
I found the DE setup from the ROAR Nationals the easiest base setup for me personaly.

You sure seem to be bouncing around to different cars . You won`t be gaining anything unless you stick to one . There is no forward bit situation . Any setup , whether stock or a Pro`s is just a starting point . Driver and track conditions are not always the same . Start with a setup that is close to your track conditions and make changes from there . Print the back section of the XXX-CR manual for tuning adjustments as it describes what does what .
For my 22T I started with the stock setup and works great for me and the track I race at . But might not for someone else , to many variables .

Don't wanna be Chicken Little but here's another reality check on lipo fires.
Gil Losi Jr.'s garage? Damn!
Saw this posted on OCRC's thread, thanks man!
I recently hooked up an ammo box for storage and there are some cool lipo sacks and packs for charging.
I'll be pulling my batteries from the car and slippin em into a safe pack for charging.

Just another option to the larger lipo sacks that have been around. Fits a couple lipos.

If you are at 1,d for the rear camber link try 1,B and im assuming you have 2mm under each rear ballstud, you can raise the inner by .5mm if you need more. I would leave your diff snug as well, this car likes it that way. Hope that helps.

Wow, that's sad. 30 years of history, one can only imagine the goodies and interesting stuff that were lost. On top of the personal stuff.

Apparently no one was hurt, which of course is all that really matters.

A little reminder won't hurt any of us.

Big time , unless you have the skills of a pro that hot of a motor has no business in a 2wd buggy .

I run an Orion motor/esc but I gear my 6.5 at 21/78, I'd start there or possibly 1 tooth lower.

As long as a car has the forward grip a 6.5 is perfect for medium/large tracks. A 7.5 runs out of steam on a large track--Omaha Hobbyplex for instance. Wish I would've had my 6.5 back from repair by the Novak race last month.
