I know I'll get brushless but do I need sensored or non-sensored? What size motor (8.5T?) and ESC? (I'll be racing primarily at a hard packed clay track in Alabama.) What size are the pinions and what supr gears will come with it?

I'll leave it at that for now.

Thanks!
The speed of the motor will depend in what class you run. Check with the track you intend to run at. Stock is usually 17.5, super stock 13.5, mod can run anything. Some tracks use 13.5 for stock so check before you buy.

I've found Tekin ESC and motors to be great. LRP have also been really good. Never known anyone who ran Xcelorin so don't know how good they are. Can't say I've ever had anyone recommend them.

FYI - for servos I'm loving Savox. Crazy good prices with killer speed/torque. Haven't had one fail yet. I love Futaba but for half the price I can get better performance with Savox.

I'd be more interested in the conversation about setup development personally. Either way, great car, looking forward to seeing it in action.

Any idea what off-set the rear wheels will have? Wondering if I can use the hex wheels/tires I already have mounted up?

What wheels? I believe they said the Kyosho ones are pretty close, close enough to run them without issues.

Sweet. That's what I'm using now for my RB5 and B4, and B44.

Can't wait for this to come out myself. I was wondering if the parts for it will also be available at the same time. I just think it is stupid to bring out a car and after a run or so it breaks, then you got to wait for the parts to be available.
Also when will the 4wd version be coming out??
Anyone from Losi want to chime in on this? ( or can't you let the cat out yet?)

I just happen to have a MIP/Thorp metric set in the closet......I purchased from the LHS some new machined Dynamite nut drivers, they seem really nice.

Thorp/MIP hex wrenches are the best!

The TQ and kyosho wheels will fit on the rear. The front wheels have a smaller hex, so the fronts won't fit. The wheels seem to have very little offset, probalby less than the kyosho.
