I don't know if it's been mentioned but for those coming from AE cars the turnbuckle groove is on the opposite side. Put the groove to the right side of the car to pull back on the wrench to tighten.

Thank you. Would that be from a B4/T4 ball diff? I'm not familiar with AE at all.

They have found that it is better as an all around pack, (not needed but a definite tuning tool) at nearly 100 grams lighter it allows you to lighten the car up and place it where its better suited.

got a pic? I havent heard of this happening but its quite possible.. did it happen when first screwing in the king pin or did you tighten it down then it cracked? or did it crack when trying to unscrew it?

I know my king ping screws are ridiculously hard to screw in

I didnt think the current B4/T4/SC10/4.1 stuff fit, too large. AE9351 B2/B3/T3 diff rebuild kit is needed.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, I did the research this morning, was planning on picking it up after work so I can finish my build.

Diff nuts are the same, the difference between the b3 and b4 diffs were the size (ratio), diff rings and outdrives..the thrust, nut and screw are all the same.

You dont want to get the rebuild kit as you will end up spending over $10 and have a lot of left over parts. You can just get the nut for about $2-3.

Mine were really tight also, just added some chapstic like the turnbuckles to be on the safe side and no issues.

No, they don't.

At least not all of them. You don't use any shims for the 1257.
