without having tried it, i'll disagree for 2 reasons:

1. the aluminium rack is heavier than the composite pieces it replaces, offsetting some (all?) of the new servo location.

2. with greater % of total mass on the rear axle, it becomes easier for the front axle to turn it, until the front axle is too light to bite. i doubt that point is being reached with this kit.

again, that's mechanical theory, not practice.

The only car I have steering issues with is the 22 buggy.

My 22 SCT is on rails and steering is the least of my problems. Those damn walls keep getting in the way when I am driving!!!

I would not think that a company like Exotek would put out something they did not see as an improvement. I am sure it was tested thoroughly.
I bought one for my buggy and I will see how it goes. If i like it great if I don't I'll sell it at a discount to someone and move on. I will let them know either way. I should have it by tomorrow I think as their office is only about an hour away from me and it should ship today.

Are all the plastic caster blocks marked to identify the degree of caster? I don't see any markings.

This picture is off of amain. I can see a little number 5 quite easily. Either someone removed the numbers on your blocks, or your powers of observation are not very good.

I guess I should of pulled the wheel to look at the outside... I haven't needed or wanted to change them on my 22sct but this buggy does. So no one really runs more than 30* combined on the 22b?

I don't think I've ever seen any competitive 2wd buggy with more than 30 degrees of caster. If anything maybe a little less, 25 to 30 is common as best as I am aware of. Way back the first Losi had 20 if I remember correctly.

LOL, me too. with the servo mount it's fine value. and I'll probably get it one day... while I still love my 22 buggy...
However, I still have another set of slider in my bag that I couldn't been bothered to put on yet.
And at current rate, $70 worth of sliders is about 3-5 years of continuous driving...

This sentence wasn't required. Is this Rob? So bloody rude. There seems to be a prevalence of social ineptitude on rctech these days. This isn't NASA and you're not a genius. You probably won't understand that one. Will just seem like a statement of two obvious facts although you may disagree with the latter. Unbelievable....

You know this guy is just plain rude, he does not follow the rules about member bashing and sure tries to make it seem like he is the most intelligent person on these forums. He has even made a public apology for his previous behavior... but it sure looks like it was nothing more than bs. I frequent many threads on rctech related to the vehicles I own and his contributions in those threads are almost always negative, derogatory or inflammatory. Look at his previous postings. I don't know who he is friends with that keep him from getting banned but enough is enough, he has had many opportunities to follow- if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.
My vote is to get rid of this guy already.
If I had posted half of the rude comments he has, I would have been banned a long time ago.

So any input on the new steering rack setup?
