I also recommend you look at some of his other blogs. The trackstar Orings he runs are fantastic as well.
I have been running the track star o rings for about 2 weeks and I love them. Bought some for my 22sct also.

The trackstar o rings may be good but the website says they are on perpetual back order and you may wait 6-8 weeks just to get them. Meh.

Wow, it priced higher than I thought. Still, Exotek makes good stuff, and I'm sure MikeR has done his homework as far as making it an improvement over the stock slider.

They way I look at it is that yes $70 is pricy but when you look at all the pieces that are machined, the major change over the losi design its probably fairly priced. Look at what losi charges for their aluminum up grades that are no where near as complex or as radical of a change. So it may not be for everyone but I feel that this will only really need a change out of bearings to keep the tolerance in check.

the full exotek rack for the rb6 is like $35. tlr charges $30 for there alum servo mounts. so thats 65 right there. add in the bearings and the rack mounts, $69 is not that bad. And if this change makes the 22 steer, then it might be worth it way more than alum camber blocks or hubs that many of you buy.

Also, Some one was asking about the Kyosho Alum servo arm. Well one came with my kit and I tried to use it with a savox 1258 with no spacers and it was hitting the rack. I really wanted to use it, so i used a set of AE FT servo mounts with zero shims and it clears fine. but I do have 2 4-40 screws on the buggy now, lol.

I had that same steering rack idea a long time ago, drew it up in AutoCAD and never made it. Seems like it'd work well, the RB6 has an almost identical setup.

How are you going to fix the driver issues?

Great racing with you again.

The servo is being moved 6mm back. Seems like that would give you less steering as weight is being moved backwards.

Depends on how you look at it the 22 has a tendency to turn in really hard hence the release of the 4mm spindles to take it abit. Moving the servo bad just might help.

are the team drivers even allowed to use after market parts like this? Anyway, I am looking forward to the feedback from this upgrade.
