I ran my standard setup out door, but with the shock mounted on the inside hole (same spring, oil, limiting), red front springs, and hubs 1mm front, 3mm rear. It was pretty good for me with DD rears (stock foam) and Rips fronts (3/4) rear foam. Pegasus doesn't have a real thick loam, so if there is more loam at your track, try Groovy fronts instead.

there is not a lot of loam unless you make an effort to drive into it. I was able to get away with holeshot rears and suburb fronts last week. the suburbs really seemed to smooth out the steering. Is the reedy setup your new "Standard setup"

I finally got to run a pack at my wet clay track with the new Reedy 2013 setup. I do not like the extra body roll that unscrewing the rear shock eyelet 3 turns gives me so I used the Evans setup of the two. Also, I'm waiting on 32.5wt oil so I still have 27.5 in my front shocks. It's very easy to drive except that I would really like a little bit more on power steering without giving up any rear traction and I don't want more off power steering.

was evens setup more forgiving? the last thing i want is anything aggressive, nor do I want a plow. gonna stay with mine for now and make minor changes just to get a feel for the car.

It's a better setup, IMO, for most racers. The old setup seemed to have too much off power steering and the rear end just kept on sliding out once it broke loose. This one is much more balanced feeling and for the most part, my car has plenty of steering - just lacking where we have a switchback then enter the straight.

yeah, I have plenty of off power steering also. my rear also slides, but a little throttle straightens it out. It feels very odd coming from the b4. Honestly, I could leave the setup alone, but what fun is RC without tinkering. But i did write down my setup before I went all crazy, so I can get back, lol. Sometimes I like to try a pro's setup just to see if it suites me more than mine. I pulled my fastest lap ever with the 22 on the current setup and I am still getting used to the car. It is so different to me.

Which setup are you guys running that gives you off power steering? I like to compare mine to that setup.
Thanks

Default 4mm spindles

Okay, I understand moving the 4mm trailing spindle ahead 2mm. But, do you still use the metal spacer plus 2mm more? Also, wont the one king pin screw be too short and the other too long? You grind front, inside of arm, for the 2mm extra clearance? Am I missing something? TIA!!

Most just move it 1.8 mm forward, which is the size of the stock caster block spacer.

You then either space the front kingpin screw out 2MM, or grind it shorter (make sure caster block doesn't bind.. this is the #1 problem with the 22 and most don't even realize its bound)

The rear screw is not too short

Ok cool!! By inside, I meant where the caster block is. I know what you mean though.
