Tekin of course. You can program it as you like (too many parameters to change) and I would say to stay away from LRP combos. They aren't good

If ur not running tekin ur cheating yourself. The customer service is top notch and they run forever. Top of that you want have to buy a new esc for years.

Why are they not good? It's German technology!

Wouldn't that be the same with LRP?

NONE of the other esc manufacturers can say that!
How come the RS doesn't hold up to 4x4 SC racing? They work great in an on-road car but I've had problems with it in my SC trucks..I have a "different" brand and I've NEVER had any problems with it in my 4x4 SC's, I'm only running 2 cell lipos with the RS ..I tried running a Novak 4.5 (550 can) and smoked it..

Pretty sure you will be able to leave your laptops at home in the near future with the Android technology available. We will be programing via blue tooth and our Android phones.

Speed Passion will be releasing A1 soon and I would imaging the others will follow.

Drag break setting is number 4. I want to run drag brake, but I dont know how to adjust the "amount of drag being applied in percentage" how do I go about achieving this....?

Tekin of course... there's other speedo's out there? wierd I dont see them around here

The RS was never designed to be used with a 550 motor in a 6lb sled. Pretty simple really. The speedo your currently running must have a higher amp flow. Match the electronics to the rig and you'll have a much happier RC hobby

At the very least you need a RS Pro with two power caps on the 550's.

If you want all the smoothness u can get go LRP or Higher End Speed Passion or even a KO Propo. These companies have it down when it comes to Smooth Response, you have complete control of every millimeter of throttle.

The Tekin is There with smoothness, better than any other ESC (not listed above) and they got a bit better with the new FW I am still playing around with my Tekin to get it to be smoother. Where as the LRP Speed Passion and KO where smooth out the box.

But if you looking for sheer Power Turbo Boost control Go Tekin they have that part down.

I own Tekins because the size, but i also have Ko and SP and used to won LRP which I love due to their Smoothness.

..this I know..it works pretty good in a blitz..I even tried the 8 and it got a bit on the hot side in my 8B..so now I only run them in my 1/10 scale stuff..I do like their motors..don't like there speed controllers..
