MrUnlimited,

Thank you for your answer. Had no idea of those prices!

As a collector, it would be heartbreaking to sell it, so I will take your advice under consideration and keep it for the time being.

Will post pictures after rebuild is finished.

Cheers,

Cheers,

Finish it off and slap a Dynatech 02H motor in it. IMO that is the only motor that has any buisness in an Egress...

Thanks man, as I have not seen the video, but now I have.
Tamiya is giving the fans what they want, re-releasing old cars.
Not any other company has done this yet.
Man I wanted one of these when I was a kid, now I might have my chance.
It also depends how much the kits will cost.
They need to put metric hardware in the car too.

bzb 12-03-2010 12:52 PM

Every tamiya has metric....

Lol, nice car though.

I saw in Towerhobbies the price….$619!!!! I love Tamiya, and the Avante, but very expensive for an electrical car 1/10…

From my point of view, cannot never leave more expensive than a car 1/8 glow, for example Mugen MBX6.

You'll be able to pick them up for ~$400 plus shipping. Same as any TRF ep car.

$400 sounds reasonable. I cant see paying $650, that's just too expensive.

Back in the 80's they were I think going for 500ish. Now with upgraded CF and new materials 400 seems like a steal.

Guillermito 12-14-2010 06:24 AM

Anyone know if you come with ESC?

Best Regards.

Probably yes since it comes with a brushed motor. I don;t know what the wind will be and what pitch the pinion will have. I hope my myself 48 pitch but I think it will be 0.6.
