Im driving on very bumpy and gripless tracks in Germany. For my B4.1 I drilled shock pistons with 2x1.3mm and 2x1.4mm on one plate. This is working very fine. But on 4wd ist is too soft i think.
The next step could be, filling the shocks with softer oil 30/25, cause it is cold here.

In setup sheets of the worlds, Cavaleri and Maifield wrote something like drilled #1 (54). Does someone know how many holes they drilled ?

I bought a used B44. I have a couple gens ace 2s saddle packs and man, it's a pain in the ass to get these strapped in. Don't have much money to play with either. Any suggestions?

Can any of you recomend a strong ball cup for this buggy. And please not RPM stuff. I personally do not like rpm stuff at all. Thanks

Jconcepts makes a few different color ballcups. I use the white ones myself.

The batteries we use are pretty small individually and as such I've been trying to find the smallest lipo sack I can get my hands on to store/transport these suckers. During a search yesterday I found a company in Arizona that makes 7" x 7.25" lipo sacks. These are the smallest I've been able to find so I ordered a couple. I'll post some pictures when they arrive, just thought I'd give everyone a heads up.

I am thinking about buying a B44. What would be an all around good motor for the car? I dont want to buy several motors trying to find the right combination. I am looking for an all purpose motor/esc combo.

I was told (and have read) a 7.5 or 8.5 are both good starting points. I have an 8.5 and to honest I am surprised at just how fast this car is :nod:

im running an lrp 6.5t.. its crazy fast with a 20t pinion even with the esc tuned down for the indoor track i run at. Im going to try a 18t pinion and see how this goes, also to help with my temps

Is it overpowered with a 6.5? Looks like 7.5 sounds about middle of the road.

Anything between a 5.5-8.5 is ideal. I'm running a 5.5 only because 6s were sold out. Plenty fast and still stable. Running 20 but may go 19 or 18 to drop temps.

Wuts a good system to get? Im not trying to buy a 300 dollar Tekin either.
