FYI, Pro-Match Racing has thier saddle pack LiPos back in stock. The only thing keeping me from pulling the trigger is it doesn't say if they're ROAR approved. Almost all (if not all) my local tracks follow ROAR rules, just not too sure if the batteries need to be ROAR approved or if that's more for national events.

I just finished my b44.1 and when I wanted to run it my wheels were wobbleing, the reason for this it was that I put the cva pins in a wrong hole :D all the pins, monday I will repair this little mistake and paint the body, pictures comming soon.

It would usually only be for ROAR events. Such as a regionals or nationals event. ROAR would tech the batteries, your local tracks won't. At least not that I've ever heard of. They would be more concerned that you aren't running a buggy with truck wheels and that you run a 17.5 in stock, not a 13.5 and stuff like that.

Slipper setting

How are you guys officially adjusting your diffs and slipper. I seem to just do it by feel on the track. With my 2wd I do it on the bench holding rear wheels, giving it throttle and the front raises 2-3 inches.

just wondering.

Officially, my diffs are just tight enough to not slip with the slipper close to being locked and then I loosen the front diff out 1/8 1/4 of a turn them I leave em alone (that might be what the manual says but off the top my head I can't remember). Slipper I adjust at the track.

Hehehehe, local hobby shop cut me a good deal on two of the Reedys yesterday....I couldn't resist :D . Went from a 30C to a 60C. Car was fast before, now its just scary.

I still believe there are really good batteries out there that don't cost an arm an a leg and I still plan on picking up one or two Pro-Match packs.

looks pretty good. You could prob put the wires to the motor under the top plate and i would move the wire near the spur gear away a little.

More 4wd buggies is always a good thing, congrats! First build and you picked a $370 race specific 4wd buggy....you my friend are a brave man!

A question, are your LiPos hard wired? If they're not I would consider making a set of wires without the balance leads....less stuff to worry about getting tangled on something.

I luuuuuuv my new 44.1!!! It seems to drive even better than my old 44.

Are you guys running the ballast weight?

Well.. with the wires I will make some more arrangements, but later. I picked
B44.1 because AE is the predominant brand at 1:10 buggy, followed by Schumacher, Losi, and Kyosho and because I can find parts on Tower.
As for lipo, I use Turnigy nano-tech 5000mah, 30-60 discharge, hc, 2s, you could say that they are "original hobbyking " :D

I just picked up a used B44 with some B44.1 upgrades however the chassis had not been upgraded to the B44.1 "Lipo" chassis. Will I have any problems putting hard case LIPO packs on this chassis?

I have some batteries on order but figured I would check with you guys while I am waiting on them
