For those who have run the rcshox dual stage pistons, what oils are you running?

What is the difference between b44 and b44.1?

Different chassis, shocks, motor mount, rear hubs. The rest is pretty much the same.

Which is actually about $150+ in upgrades though! ....and well worth it!

More steering. Its not worth the money indoor mod racing. Braking sux but it will corner faster in and out of the turns. The only way I would even think of using one again would be if I was running on a huge out door track. Then it may be applicable.

The only time it really worked for me indoors was in the stock shoot out with a 17.5.

A spool may be a better option with a mod motor. Never tried one???

Any sensored 6.5 is pretty standard.

Just finished putting mine together with a Tekin 6.5 and it is stupid fast on the top end geared 18/81 but still is smooth and drivable at slower speeds.

Just get a 6.5 and you can dial it down/back on your radio limiters. Once you get comfortable with the car, you can slowly dial it up, and you'll be glad you don't have buy/sell/trade up motor. I'm very comfortable with my car after running it for a couple months now, and I run a 6.5T with 19 or 20 pinion on 81 spur. I'm ready to add a little timing to the ESC now too :tire:

Have fun!

6.5 is what the pros run. I'd get 7.5
