Thats strange. At my track i haven't seen anyone break an arm on there b44.1's yet.

i bent a shock shaft though. i landed on a 4x4 SC that just stuffed it into the pipe. i didn't even realize it was bent until i finished practicing. oh and the plastic that holds the orings was slightly cracked as well. overall, it's been a solid buggy after 2 race days.

Little Help.....

So If I purchase the J Concept Blue Hexes for the B44.1 I can then run the TLR 22 wheels on the rear of the B44.1 with the correct off-set:confused:

http://www.jconcepts.net/store/index...roducts_id=524

Or do I need to purchase the JConcepts Inverse wheels #3338 (white) #3338Y (yellow) or Mono wheels 3348 (white) 3348Y (yellow) wheel for proper mounting, offset?

Thanks,
E

You can use the Losi, Kyosho, or DE. I beleive the Kyosho and Losi need to have the center hole drilled out a little to fit over the axle

U guys think that new 7300 kv 4 pole revteck motor would be to much for this buggy??

I have no experience with the DE but the Losi does not need to get bored out, only the Kyosho does.

Theyre supposed to not leak as much, or at all with the white spacers. Im in the middle of trying them too.

I currently build my shocks with a standard AE o-ring up top and either a kyosho, trinity or mcmaster carr grooved o-ring on the bottom and the white spacer, with a nice amount of green slime. Smooth as silk and no leaks.

I agree. It will be a few weeks but I will let ya know. Now we have some increments to work with. Based on a set ring and spacer. The seals I took out were clearly swollen to the point they were sticking unless I pumped them up. 6 weeks and 2 practice nights are a good run on any shock seal in my opinion. Hoping to get 8 with this method.

What are you guys using for front and rear tires?

Track I race on is a damp Clay surface I was using the stock tires but found a crack in the front rims and was going to get a new set and try some different ones out.,

Flipouts?
Barcodes?
Holeshots?
Rebars?
