I run a Revtech 7.5 w/Nano-Tech 5100 60c. They are great batteries. I can't tell you how much runtime since I usually don't run more than 10 minutes at a time.

I really have had great results out of my Reedy 5200's. I balance them before the race once each week. 10.5 down to the 5.5. flawless packs all winter so far.
It seems I saw something a newer pack coming to?

Thanks guys, I ended up buying a couple Fantom 65c saddle packs. I run Fantom motors and batteries in all my other cars, so I figured I'd stick with them on this car as well.

was runnning 27 1/2 in the front an 25 in the rear and it was kinda bouncy.

Don't know of any? You should be able to hit the local hobby shop or track for any parts. Saves time from ordering by mail.

Bummer. If your bashing you may want to modify some sort of gear protector.

I would't do that. Its better the arm breaks than a kick up plate.

Just scored a 44.1 in great used condition with a Novak Ballistic 7.5 and a Reedy saddle pack. Any gearing recommendations?

I'm building my 44.1 right now and I'm looking at the new LPR X-20 6.5 turn coming out and i have driven a few 44.1s this past weekend and 6.5 seemed to feel to best and the most common class so go with a 6.5

Default DONT GO METAL SPUR

don't go metal spur it will melt with the pinion and will mess up the spur and pinion gear make them all burred up and if rocks get in there your screwed just a little one have you made sure you motor mount or plate to your motor mount the screws for them being loose they have a tendency to chew up your spur if everything isn't super tight and also spaced properly
