Hi, just got my TT yesterday from Nitrohouse.

I believe these are shipping with the thicker ackerman wire now. I purchased the upgraded ackerman when I ordered the TT, and they are the same black thicker wire.

Anyone know what 17mm work yet to run buggy tires? Looks to be the same thickness as the AKA slash 4x4 hub adapters, but not sure...

Wire is same thickness, length of it is different, one is 54mm other one is 53mm or something similar, that is what changes the ackerman angle.....

Mine has a Havoc Pro SC with a 6.5 Velocity motor with 12 tooth pinion. Timing is at stage 2.

If the polarity of the servo is correct, I would check to ensure that servo reversing is not enabled on the transmitter. More than likely it is.

^^^ You could always run the 13T pinion that it came with, just keep an eye on your temps.

ohh i didnt realize the stock pinion would fit the shaft, i automatically related mod 1 with 1/8 setups. based on R2's post, i would guess a 13 tooth would be good for the 7.5

All depends on your track.....might be too much....I am running a Tekin 6.5 and using an 11T....it is plenty fast for me and clears the triple at my track with speed/power to spare.

I would just double check temps to be safe. But, it should work ok.

If you check out A-main parts list for the 10TT you will see all the pinions. They are mod 1 but for 1/10 scale. I have 12,13,14 so if you need 1 let me know on Sunday..

I am sure it gives the TT more overall steering. Everyone that has tryed my mod over the Ofna 54mm link LOVES it. Everyone I talk to says it has alot more inital steering... i will post pics and the exact lengths all my turnbuckles are front, rear, rack and the turnbuckle that is connected to the servo arm. I hardly have time to do this as it is SUPER BUSY in the shop EVERYDAY!! I will try to keep everyone informed as to what i do as far as mods.. As for spare parts, get some extra front steering blocks, front and rear arms. Those are the main three parts i sell everyday for people with TT's... Thanks guys,

Ray
