Apparently you have a Hara fan. I think pink looks great in the right conditions.

I bought the Punisher from Darkside Designs on eBay. The pink one I did paint myself. And I'll paint another one pink, too!

Gotta give you some flack for running the pink body TQ!!! Its kinda funny, your graphite blue body was actually mine from Darkside . That used to be my scheme when I ran my Kyosho 1/8 cars, but when I switched to the RC8Be I went back to my old scheme that I ran when I ran my old B3 & T3. Darkside painted that scheme on that body by mistake for me...but it looks great for you!!

Hi guys,

I'm converting one of my rc8b's to an rc8b-e and was hoping to use a punisher or bulldog body. Are either of these nitro bodies ok to use or do I have to wait for ones made specifically for the rc8b-e?

Cos I believe the body Maifield used at the nationals was only a prototype and not due for release at this stage?

I know for sure that you can use the Punisher. Maifield was running nothing special; it's a production body. The bodies in my pictures are a Punisher and then an Illuzion RC8e body from JConcepts. I'm not quite sure on the Bulldog from Proline, but it should be just fine as well.

Ok cool, the punisher looks great!

Oh i only thought Maifield ran a prototype cos that's what it said on the jConcepts website. But if it's ok to run the existing body then happy days!!

Just need to get the e-conversion kit now to bolt my hobbywing combo to and I'm good to go.

Thanks for the heads up mate.

Just got finished trimming and mounting my Punisher body on my RC8Be. Dont need to do anything special at all as far as trimming. it looks sick too!

I'll post a pic if someone can point me in the right direction as far as pic posting instructions.

Thanks,

Jim

I usually upload the pic to photobucket then cut and paste the img code which appears under the pic and that way it appears as the pic when you post it and not a link

Here is a pic. Please Excuse the rattle can job. I did not get a custom job because I heard the body would not fit the RC8Be.

Thanks for the help!

Default Pro-Line Bulldog

I am running a Bulldog on my RC8Be and it fits perfectly. There is no problem with the battery hitting or anything.
