Default ESC ?

I might get flamed for posting this in here but I trust most of your opinions. I have a Lrp stock spec sxx v2, been running a 17.5 and a 13.5 with great sucess in my Ft.B4.1 but now going to some big outdoor tracks and want to run a 8.5 Lrp XL12 mod motor. Will the stock spec esc have any problems with this motor? I don't use a lot of the adjustment with my esc. Any other advantage with going with the tc version esc?
Thanks for the input!!

Dont 'Hulk Smash' the wheelnuts. Thats why its a locknut. Tighten as much as needed only. If the nut doesnt work as it used to... reach in your box and use another set (you did buy new spares... right?)

+1 AE's "crush tube" is now an E clip in the front at least. If you over tighten it you will bend the clip. Wheel nuts are cheap. Don't over tighten and replace when showing any signs of wear.

Waist of money for offroad. Just get some avid revolutions for $1 each and throw them away when they need replacing.

Looked at some pics of a B4.1 with big bores at the Cactus Classic. Will check it out today and report back what I see. Did not race but going to watch the finals.

Anyone used the Hot Racing motor plate , was wondering if it fits properly and works good too.

I know how to tighten up a wheel nut, just something would bind up a d cause the wheel not to spin freely, took it apart many of times to see if I did something wrong.

Have you tried them? If not, why are you against ceramics in offroad? They just free up the cars drivetrain wheels ect. How is this not good for offroad?

Just make sure you put the bearing on the axle first then put the C clip on after the bearing, in between the other bearing.... Had my C clip on the outside and my wheels were doing the same thing... Binding

If you over tighten the nut it can pop that clip out of position. The clips are cheap and easy to replace just put new ones on every couple of weeks.

I am need of some help. I am running Cavalieri's Reedy Race set-up with some minor changes. 32.5 shock oil up front, spindle up, Pink Kyosho spring up front and White in the rear. I am lacking low speed turn in, it has a high speed push and just rotates through the corner really slow. I am about 1.5 sec. a lap slower than the top 5 leaders. I run mod with an 8.5 with pink tapers up front and pink BK Bar in the back.

I am also wondering what everyone is using for a toe block? I have 3 degrees. Any help would be great.

The U brace is shaved and has zero washers under it. the other thing I forgot to mention is I run the R10 speedo and I have had to increase the drag brake to 15% just to get the car to steer. From what I am told, this is a lot drage brake that a car needs.
