Ouch. Been a rough few weeks for my buggy.

Broke the chassis, steering rack, top plate, diff case (both sides!), rear tower, two rear arms, and a wheel.. Yes, a wheel. (?!)

Bent two dogbones and lost another, and two turnbuckles..

Had to replace a servo horn, motor guard, front axles..

Kind of discouraging, learning this skill.. maybe I need to start running on a Nerf track. Seems like as soon as I get everything in order, I break again. Getting expensive!

What exactly are you doing with the buggy? I can't say that I've broken that much stuff in the entire time I've had my first B4 (purchased when they originally came out). I'm not trying to be a dick, just trying to figure out a possible solution.

no timmahh is not correct, If you have (2) 2lb/in springs and stack them each spring will only move 1/2 an inch with the same 2lb load. It will now take 4lbs for each spring to move the rated one inch.

Try it. Take two springs attach them on top of each other and put a controlled amount of weight on them and measure how far the weight falls. Now take each spring individually and do the same thing. guarantied you will see a higher spring rate with the individual springs. if you don't want to do that go to college and get a mechanical engineering degree, as many on this board have done.

Just a thought. Has anyone thought of using tubes instead of foams? I know you couldn't find any that size but maybe a company has tried them and they haven't work out? They would never wear out like foams and you can adjust the firmness of the tire without having to take the tire off and putting different foams in.

Looking for a good gear ratio to start with to run stock class. I'am running the Ballistic17.5 in the b4.1.
