I would have probably stripped the blue anodizing off before, might have got a little better result although they do look good. When I did mine years ago on my Losi cars I just always had a perfect lunsford polished one to go with.

Is anyone running a spacer of sort on the front FT axel? I have some slop on the front wheels even when the screws are tight.

Make sure your bearings are seated fully inside your rims...if they are and you still have slop...welcome to the AE B4.1.

Just to clarify because some may not have followed this thread forever and the above can be a little misleading....They only moved the inner hole on the B4.1 tower...4th hole location on a T4.1 or SC10 would still need to be drilled.

pretty disappointed with my worlds kit. one of the rear u-brace ballstuds does not have a hex head on it (just round) so I can't even drive it into the brace, and the shocks are not smooth inside

i've emailed AE and will probably get replacements soon, but I was hoping to run a new kit this weekend.

To lessen the slop in the front end of my AE cars that run the bearings on the wheels, I take an orange shock O-ring and put it behind the wheel nut. When you tighten it down it snugs up the slop without causing any bind. Be careful not to tighten it too much as it will flatten out and rub the inner and outer race of the bearing and cause drag.

I tried running a spacer to take out the slop but I didnt like it. Try it once and see if you do. Its all about preference.
