Default A little help, PLEASE

I have read most of the posts in this thread, but I may have over looked this. I would appreciate any input.
I am working on a B4.1 FT. When I put the axle in the diff., it bottoms out before the turnbucke will hook up. It is hitting on the locking t-nut. The other side goes in fine. I tightened it down until the diff thrust bolt broke, I replace it and turned the diff around. Same thing happened on the other side. I pushed the axle bearing as far in as I could with my fingers. It is almost like the axle is too long.
????

Thanks in advance
John

Could you have put the diff screw through the wrong half of the outdrive?

If it's hitting, it is not built right, that's for sure.

Thanks, I will switch it tomorrow night. I put it together without my glasses, and the pic in the manual with the bolt through it looks like the half with the sleeve sticking up, but it is not. I have put everything away and watching the ball game now. I wonder if I can do it without taking the transmission all the away apart...again.

Thanks again
John

Default My B4.1

Hi Guy's

just wanted to share my B4.1FT
Building it is a Big improvement on my B4 FT.
Very happy with the car, i hope for a better balanced chassis concerning rear end traction, compared to my B4FT.
Still have to come up with a nice design to paint the body, but here is the finished chassis ;D

Cheers
Rob

Default RTR Brushless kit

For those that have the RTR B4 brushless kit, are you satisfied with the Reedy 3300kV motor? I might get one for Christmas and will eventually go brushless so not sure if its worth getting the stock Brushless or not bothering and just upgrade the regular with a stronger motor. thanks
