Shorty pack?

I'm running the same combo, and it seems a tad soft, but it rolls a ton with the 1.6 pistons. I'm going to try going to play with some smaller pistons Saturday.

I run the long pack, 24mm ride height. Prior to running the 1.7 I used the 1.6 with lighter oil. I also used the new Avid 1.5 1.1 pistons. I like the AE 1.7 setup better. on our current track my lap times went down every round last night.

Do the Lunsford Punisher turn buckles require different than AE stock ball cups, is the thread different?

A couple things come to mind. First, ball cups do not come threaded so the thread should not matter. Second, if you are going to pay for Lunsford turn buckles why would you stick with AE ball cups. That is like buying a F1 car and putting 91 octane in the tank

They are the same size, will thread right in. I use punishers with rpm ball cups.

Actually wanted to run different ball cups than stock but wanted to know about the threads and just was putting it in simple to understand terms

Any one actually confirm that avid springs fit ok on the AE BB shocks?
as i noticed there springs seemed to be slightly smaller inner diameter than AE 12mm rear springs.
