I was told by Maifield to hold one wheel and spin the other. Should not go more than one turn. Maybe thats his preference but it works for me.

It's all preference. Less than one turn is about as tight as you should ever go.

Quick gearing question as I am still some what new to brushless motors. I stole the ESC and 3300KV motor out of my daughters SC10RS so I could play around with my 2wd between rounds on saturday since I haven't ordered my gear yet. I have no idea what to gear this motor. Spurs I have are 81, 75, 72 and pinions i have 17 through 21. book says 81/21 which seems low to me.

Look up what pinion comes on the B4.1rs brushless. Use that gearing or whatever you can that is close.

Geez you guys complain when they won't release the BB and then you keep complaining when they're released!

Maybe I got lucky and picked out a good set but I did nothing more than the directions say and all the stock components and they're flawless!

BB's are built. By far the BEST 1/10 shock AE has ever released. Use the stock orings. I see nothing wrong with them. If yours leak you need to learn what "green slime" is. However. One bummer. My BB's came with a faulty spring adjuster. It wouldnt thread up the body. I filed and filed. Finally got it

TIP

Use a little oil on the shock adjuster before threading on the body , easy to cross thread dry ...

I have an extra one as I used red ones from Tresrey. Shoot me a PM if you'd like, I'll send it your way.
