My buggy always noses down when it jumps, and I have tried experimenting with different springs and oils but I can't fix it. What can I try to keep the nose up?

Do you have your battery forward? If so try it back? What about weight? If you have battery back and have no weight, do you have the ballast weight in there? If no try adding it, and it should fix your issue.

Yeah, I assumed you dont have a ton of weight up front. I dont run any weight up front at all. I also run 1 thin pad in the back and 2 pads up front with a full sized pack. But you can fix jumping most of the time with driving. Unless your setup is way off base.

Most likely ?

Reason the car is nose diving is you are hitting the jump to fast forcing the back end to slap the face of the jump...

The slap push's the rear up & nose down ...

recommend

Rolling up to jump a bit more & just before you hit the jump ?
Give it throttle to clear ....

Default Thielke Surf City Setup

http://www.teamassociated.com/pdf/ca..._Surf_City.pdf

Looking over this I noticed WD40 tire sauce.
Is this for slick tires or would this ad grip to any tire?
I ask because sauce is not allowed where I race and this could be an option.
Also, everything about this setup seems a little unusual. Is this because of an extremely high grip track or a driving style?

Thanks for any insights

They use WD at those tracks with pin tires and slicks as well

That track gets insanely high grip during that 2 day race. The wd-40 is mostly used to take some grip away and make driving on the slicks easier.

WD-40 is made from diesel and works great on slick's .

yeah I mean look at the shock package he was running too...... don't think we would ever need to run that type of setup except for extreme conditions.

Im not dis-agreeing with you, but Brent has said that he has tried that shock package on varrying tracks and has liked it. Just something to maybe try in the future.

It's definitely setup for a high traction track. The front camber link placement is relatively aggressive, and he's running the c-hubs out back.

local fast guy at my track runs a very heavy setup as well, and kicks ass (almost TQ'd against Hartson/Evans). I believe he's running Losi Green/Yello and fluids in the mid 30s AE35/32.5 IIRC with V2 shocks.
