Then I ran my new Avid Triad. This clutch seems easier to adjust compared to the garodisc/stock setup. With the garodisc, a small <1/4 turn makes a substantial difference in performance. With the triad, larger adjustments are needed to make the same performance difference. This made the dial-in phase much easier for me. Driving with this clutch is what made me recognize the issue with my garodisc. In addition, I can run the mesh closer while still having enough lash with these gears compared to the silent spurs I was previously running.
In the end, I'm very happy with the Triad, and I'm sure I can be with the garodisc again if I treat the pads. Because of the lighter weight setup on the triad, and ease of adjustment, I don't think I'll go back to the stock type clutch setup.
Thanks for the answer. I'm gathering from other posts the fade resistance & durability of the triad is at least as good as the garodisk?

Anyone think the new Associated Big Bore shocks will be better than the Kyosho big bores?
Also anyone care to guess at the price of the Associated B.B. shocks?
I'm sure they will not cost $130 like the Kyosho shocks.
Well I hope not...

My bet ....
About $10 less or same as the cost of a V2 shock set...
Will I be able to swap my Factoryone Bushing and rings from my B4.1 shocks over to the new AE big bores?

Anyone like the slop in the AE steering rack over the Avid steering rack?
Not sure if having a steering locked down with the Avid is a good thing in a buggy.
I would think a little slop is good in a buggy.
What do you guys think?
Do you preffer the Avid rack or the stock rack?
I may buy one just to test it out.
