So i finally got my man cave all put together this weekend ( we just bought a house) and I sat down sunday and started to wrench away on my B4. I installed a Novak 13.5 motor with Tekin RS, but didnt have the correct gearing and my wire was too short on the speedo so I need an extesion. Other than putting a new servo in, its been sitting on my bench waiting for me to tweek the set-up. I rebuilt the ball diff ( havent done that in 15 years) but I am wondering about shock oils, link positions and anything else I might need. I looked at all the set-up sheets on line but they really dont have anything for my local track. Its large, medium grip, mainly used for 1/8 scale. Any help would be appriciated.

Ryan Cavs reedy race setup is pretty close to what I run on my 1/8 scale med grip outdoor track, but I did move the hubs forward and used .5 alum hubs in the rear.

is it bad if i dont use brake when im driving my b4 because i feel like it just makes me slower. Pretty much i use the drag to slow me down. I really only use brake when im going off jumps. Because my non breaking habits i pretty much gave my front alot of the traction so it rotates in turns pretty good without using the brakes. this may be a bad habit im forming but not sure

HEY EVERYONE!! Need some input! New b4.1 worlds car is coming tomorrow :) any tips? trick? suggestions? for the build?? and also curious if this kit comes with any oils in it... diff/shock oils? and what all will i need extra to complete this build ? thanks!!!!

Has everything you need to build the kit even tools, but most use their own tools like me. The only thing I don't think that it came with is black AE grease or the green stuff from AE (can't remember) which I use on all my builds, but it does have shock fluid and does come with diff lube for the ball diff.

Tips just take your time and follow instructions (the AE manual's to me are great and alot better then most) and you should have no issue's..........
