I picked up the yeah racing diff tool, but the ring doesn't sit flat on it.

Any tips?
I used servo tape the last time stuck to my fingers, and I thought "has to be a better way"
If you guys know anyone looking for a lazer and a lot of parts-I am thinking about selling mine..

Hey Guys,
I recently purchased a FS2 and a full set of big bores. Im gonna run the Jared Tebo setup and was wondering if I need to purchase any additional parts before the build for these shocks to work, or parts for the Tebo build.

I see there is a 4th hole used on the front shock stay, is it just drilled? or can I buy one with this hole?

also whats a good gearing start point with an 8.5 turn brushless?

thanks!!!

Like savageboy69 said.. You can drill it or get the updated 4 hole tower if you can find it.. The part number for the new tower is KYOLA216B.. Motor wise I personally run an Orion 8.5.. 18t with the stock 78 spur works well.. I have gone up to 20t without heat issues .. Additional parts would be get 2 sets of Associated 3/32 carbide diff balls.. Toss the Kyosho ones out as they are near useless.. The stock thrust bearings are fine however.. Get some Associated black grease and clear diff lube while you're at it.. It's good stuff

I'm finally going to put my big bores together only had them for a few months which tops are you guys using and what are you using for oil ?

I'm also putting the rear Kyosho 0* aluminum rear hubs on which hole is a good starting point for the ball studs .

I just picked up a ZX-5 kit NIB for $40 off craig's list. What parts need upgrades for durability? Thanks for the help.

good question. I'm not really sure. It looks like the guy had it for awhile. It's in a red box that says zx-5. no fs or sp so it must be older. But everything is still in plastic bags and sealed.
