In regards to servo choice, what would be best? Speed and Torque or just Torque? I'm planning on running Futaba servos. The choices I've boiled down to are:

Futaba BLS451
Specifications:
Speed: .14 Sec/60 Degrees @ 4.8V - .10 Sec/60 Degrees @ 6V
Torque: 111 oz-in @ 4.8V - 147 oz-in @ 6V

Or

Futaba BLS452
Specifications:
Torque: 6V: 194.5 oz-in
Speed: 6V .14 sec/60 degrees

I used to run a Hitec 7850 in my Losi 8-E but that's for 8th scale buggy, not 1/10th. I plan on running stock at first and then mod when I'm comfortable.

I run the Futaba BLS 551. It's plenty fast and plenty torque. I like the low profile because of it's weight and it allows you to change the front ballast weight without pulling the servo.

SPECS: Torque: 102 oz-in (7.4 kg-cm) @ 4.8V 128 oz-in (9.2 kg-cm) @ 6V Speed: 0.13 sec/60° @ 4.8V 0.10 sec/60° @ 6V Dimensions: 1.6 x 0.8 x 1.0" (41 x 20 x 25mm) Weight: 1.6 oz (44g)

just my 2 cents but if i were buying a servo for the dex get something that has titanium gears ive stripped two servos or run a servo saver for sure, I ordered a savox 1256tg because i thought i had a 1258 laying around but unless i can trade it then i will use it in my dex it has 277oz-in but Speed is 0.15 but it will do just fine

I use this:
http://www.hobbypartz.com/33p-solarservo-d770.html

It's lasted an entire season of indoor racing this past winter, so I've already broke even on it as far as I'm concerned.

I run the BLS451 and it's perfect for me. Just the right speed and has good torque, and super smooth steering response. Can't go wrong with that one.

Got to practice with the +10 tresrey chassis I'm liking it stability wise it's about the same as the DIMEC chassis, The buggy jumps really good specially on our outdoor track! However I feel the +8 DIMEC chassis gives me a little more traction... I'll play with the setup more to get the same feel as the DIMEC chassis....

Has anyone run the STRC dex210 parts yet? I managed to get the cream front carbon tower through Tresrey but I can no longer get there stuff through my LHS, so I want a matching carbon rear tower since the tresrey one I ordered won't show any more. They call it 4mm graphite, is it carbon fiber or something else?

Got a chance today to race my DEX210 with tresrey +10 chassis... I made a few
Changes I replace the insert on the front knuckle with #3 insert gain a lot of on-power steering, and move the shock inside on the bottoms of the front arm and wow the buggy came back to life it has the same feel as the DIMEC +8 chassis but it's better over all... Run few battery pack after the race to see which tires feels better and end up with Ribs/Suburbs combo for our indoor clay track...
