So after seeing a few people talk about their inserts being in backwards I checked mine out.
I found I had a pretty legit setup.
20/30 up front
2.5/3.5 rear

I'll tell ya my car was pretty damn dialed.
Lol not really been fighting it in corners a lot and probably due to this oversight.

Think I am going to pick up one of these buggies, looks like a real nice kit, right there with the 22.

This is a big thread and has lots of info, but kinda hard to find info in. So, what comes in the box, what else will I need to get, ie;wheels, tires and what are (if any) the must do/hop up parts to get.

I haven't run off road for years, so need as much help as possible.

The only things you may need are:
Tires kit only comes with rims
Springs set or a couple of pairs
0,05 hex driver that little allen/hex key is no good for big hands
Maybe look at the carbon fiber towers and steering rack.
I went thru a few kick ups/anti squat pieces but not needed one for a while as I have been crashing less.
Other than that you don't really need anything else

* and you need shock oil

My "metric" is bad. What size wrench are you referring too?

This size what you're referring too? http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ch-005-x-120mm

Im not sure you can buy a 1.3mm hex but im sure you US guys are going to have one of those lying around with the funny measurements that you insist on having

Rofl. Yep. Only Hudy sells a 1.35mm that I can find. But at $18 U.S. that's kinda expensive for a wrench.

Thanx

EDS makes a nice .050"(inch not mm) and so does MIP/Thorp

I have both, but I prefer EDS.

I didnt have any Hex tools so I just picked up the AE Blue Alminum toolset which covers both of my cars. Handy little tool, and I can use my Mikita cordless drill. Saves time, but be careful not to overtighten anything. Also got the Durango Metric nut driver tool that covers the rear tires and little black locknuts.

Has any body else noticed that the chassic has a bow in it. I have checked 4 cars and they all have the same bend. Put a straight edge across the bottom of the car and it bows from front to bad like a banna

Default bad push

I picked up a used dex210 last week and when I took it to the track it pushed really bad, basically couldn't turn it. I had some faster guys drive it because I'm new to buggy and they said it "steered like it was in a constant wheelie". It's that bad, I race on a tight clay indoor track but I looked over the setup and nothing seems unusual about it. I have kit springs, full size battery all the way forward, new tires(scrubs mc), it's not binding anywhere, I'm stumped. Just wondering if there was something obvious about these that I might be overlooking or maybe somebody else has had this problem? It seems like a bigger problem than a simple spring or oil change.

Check the front caster blocks and axles. Make sure it's using the #4 insert for the axle and you have 4mm spacers behind the caster blocks. If you don't have these set correctly, when turning the front wheels, the rim will lock on the front A arm. This will cause a really bad push.

The Associated tool is nice and if you buy the 7mm nut driver they have to helps keep your toolbox down in size.
