I'm around 1650g with 200g shorty pack, Ti links and carbon front/rear + battery bar.

I know some guys here say they are race-ready at low 1500g's, which I don't see how that's possible.

With business not being as nuts selling the RF pivot on oople, I thought I'd post up here for those interested.

I sell 3/3, 1.5/3 and 0/3 rear pivot blocks, I also sell the 0/3 with 2 1mm shims so you can run it as a 1/5 and 3/3 at a cheaper price.

Thought I would post up some stuff that I have done to my Dex210.

The stock body is alright.. its pretty cool but, before I got a dex I had a B4 and always wished the chassis and body were slim like the 22. When I got the Dex210 I still felt the same way... so I looked into ways to get a 22 body on the 210. Some might say well why not just get a 22? For me I used to be an Associated fan boy.. so I just don't want a Losi.. plus, I feel the Durango is a better buggy all around.

So.. to get a 22 body to fit I found the best and easiest way to achieve this was to use the stock "side pods"/mudguards and trim them down. This way I didn't have to make any custom parts to mount up to the front and rear ends. I love using velcro to hold the body one so I decided to use 1/4" lexan to make the side higher and also give a place for the wires to rest.. along with adding strength.

The losi 22 body isn't tall enough in the front to clear the servo.. and the body comes pre-cut (GRRRR why losi? why?) so I decided to butcher my stock Dex210 body for a sorta of front "cowling". I got the dex210 body used and it was painted white.. tried to strip the paint for the lexan got clouded so that's why it looks weird.

I got a cheap 22 body off of ebay that was cut for mid motor.. I'm only temporarily using it to test wither I like mid-motor or rear-motor better..once I choose I will get a new front cowling painted up and a new 22 body!

Here is how it turned out... I am very happy with the results!
(Don't mind the servo.. the tabs broke off so I have to get a new case)









While I was at it I noticed that the 210 doesn't have a "real" front bumper..I have heard after much use the front of the chassis, the bulkhead,and the a-arms start to wear and break.. I looked into getting a Bugleboy front bumper but shipping was too much so I made my own out of 1/8" Lexan.. it has held up great and I like how it looks




I also fashioned a temporary rear bumper..



That's all folks.. let me know what you think! Some people this it is pointless to do all that work to put a 22 body on the car...but, I like how it looks better than the stock body.. many like the stock body.. I understand.

I had thought about that.. but, I believe the 22 chassis is wider than the 210's.. so a 210 chassis with the 22 guards on it would be too slim for the body I believe. I also like how I was able to keep the stock mount points on the front of the rear of the car.

Never thought of the chassis being a different size.

I actually thought of putting them on because I like how slim the 22 is. Then I remembered there is zero room for things so then Thought about just trimming the side pods to put my Kyosho bulldog body on. The Kyosho is slimmer than the b4, so I wasn't sure if it would drop on or I'd have to cut.

Hey what other front wheels fit this thing? B4 fronts or are the bearings different sizes.

Not sure about that Kyosho bulldog body as far as wither or not you would have to cut the pods.

B4 front wheels won't fit the stock axles because the bearings for the stock wheels are larger than than the ones that go in B4 wheels..

You can use these axles so that you can run B4 front wheels..

I'm running on hard packed clay.. the traction is pretty high.. I tested the car for the first time today with the 4-gear mid-motor..and I had plenty of traction...even with the stock set-up and springs this was of course with new tires though

I ran 22 mid rear and mid on dirt clay and carpet. Mod was better is all areas, idk why everyone insists rear is better on dirt. It might take time to get a set up or some out of the box thinking to set it up but it will handle better and run faster times while being under control. I just don't like losi or the quality of the diff components.

Im not sure why everyone insists on rear on dirt either.. I feel that as long as you have enough traction in mid their is no reason not to run mid. Everyone at my track including Dustin Evans and Matt Chambers. (My track is their home track) run rear motor. I agree the mid motor get through the corners faster. Then again the dex210 is better as a mid motor car than the 22. I think many people other than the pros just run what the pros do because it is easier to get a set-up. The only thing im worried about is the amount of traction I will have as the tires wear..I don't have the money to buy tires every few runs haha.

Yea, I have heard the losi diff is bad.

Sorry, left my scale at the track and I already installed it. I did think about it though. Maybe I'll pull it sometime this weekend and weight it. On carpet, I gained a little rear grip. Enough to where I had to make a front camber adjustment to get back some steering.
