anger is when someone chimes in with nothing to add.

I have the full assortment of Durango springs to work with though.

Please help
I'm not using everything from this setup, but I am currently using the shock package from it and I was really happy with it on track. It felt very close to being ideal. And that was on a clay med-high bite track here in NorCal.

lol. or when people are slower than you.

well theres a couple I looked at that I was going to use as a starting point. travis emezcua has one somewhere if you google. I think rc car action's website. but battery placement is sideways. +8mm chassis aswell. shocks mounted rear. kyosho springs.

theres also one on petitrc. the only one posted with mm3. I think it was for the v2. and was carpet.

i'm at work or I would post the bookmarks..... but from what i remember its mostly dark blue or black springs up front.... . and light blue in the back.

for pistons its some pages back but I belive people were modding stock durangos to make them 1.4

here are the rest of the mods to make the DEX Lay Down happen. most of it is common sense once you get the ball rolling. Good luck kids.

I am not so sure this is the best way to go for high bite clay..... 4 hole pistons? really??

this is a 5 year old setup....surely someone has improved on this.

The shocks worked as a good starting point for me and what I had. I just haven't had a chance to test any changes .

What worked really good for me was 2x1.5 up front/ 30 wt TD dark green
2x1.6 rear/ 27.5 wt. Kyosho White. Or something similar

The number of holes in the piston doesn't really matter. Its the total hole area that matters. You need to get the proper amount of pack for your conditions and the proper amount of damping for your spring rate. Then you have to balance them front to rear. There's no setup sheet that can figure this out for you.

Ok, I have all of the laydown parts from PR I'm still waiting on the Exotek chassis. I need to order a body and would like some first hand experience on what body BEST fits the Exotek. I've searched this tread but a lot of the pics are now gone from page. Ive narrowed it down to these 3

JCO0308 S2 for the 22 3.0
JCO0294 S2 for the B5M(laydown version, I believe stand up is 0293)
PRO346700 PL Predator for the 22 3.0

Thanks in advance for any help on this.

I don't have any of those bodies for mine but I've actually had good fitment using the stock 22 3.0 bodies with some trimming near the waterfall area and of course the front brace area. I'm sure someone could cut it much better than I did though.

Default DEX210 Roller From EXOTEK!

It's a bit pricey I'll give ya that but if you're running a 210f still then this may be right up your alley. Heck I kinda want it myself lol except I practically have zero parts for the rear end

Looks great,

Do you maybe have a parts list of the things you need for the conversion?
