Well good news on the replacement body front! Thanks to KremZeek for tracking down a lead, a NIB 210V3 kit should be enroute from Canada. They have my money and haven’t returned it yet and the site said one in stock with live inventory. Fingers crossed and prayers sent.

Hopefully this produces a body. The 210V3 was by far the most difficult to locate. Now I feel bad for ignoring the DESC410R body because with that one, literally every body for every TD would have been found......might have to pick one up just for closure lol.

Additionally, as some may have noticed, Team Blue Groove only sells the body’s, they come with a high quality overspray film but no window masks or decals. However, a company called MCI Racing, also out of Canada, sells window decals and many decal sets for the TBG body’s. Now I don’t have all the decal sets as I didn’t know about this until recently, but I’ll send all the window masks and the decal sets I have, which TBG will then forward them to MCI Racing. So once these body’s show up on TBG’s EBay store, check out MCI if you need window masks and decal sets.

Yes , credit goes to someone who has posted info on this thread. I happen to have a PRs1 v3 so I transferred everything over . I ordered and got a new housing and motor plate so soon I’ll know if the guts from dex210 fit. I’m sure they will but I think I gotta buy the top shaft

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!

Just got a tracking number so the DEX210V3 body is a go. Talk about last minute right up to the buzzer. Due to this I’m not mailing the huge box of body’s to TBG yet. This ones worth waiting a week for.

I think I'm going to order the parts to do this conversion on the Exotek chassis. Why do you think the 210 top shaft wont work on the PR gearbox?

How much drilling do you need to do to mount the PRS1 laydown?

Only two holes for the waterfall . If u look back at picture I posted of the bottom of chassis you will see that the trans itself fits in the existing holes for the Dex trans . Waterfall only needs to be drilled for . Very simple mod. I recommend you use the longer chassis and there is some trimming of the rear suspension mounts

I think the ideal chassis to mod for this laydown swap is the Plan B that allows lipo to be mounted sideways

I’ll pull trans off the chassis tomorrow and snap a few pictures to show the mods to rear suspension mounts - only a dremmel needed and large cup of coffee

I was never a fan of the Plan B chassis. It's way way WAY too long!

Default shocks and setup help.....high bite clay

Sorry to break in on this laydown transmission conversation, but what is everyone using for their high bite clay setup?

a track where Primes are the dominant tire.

I have the dimec +8 chassis on one car, the aluminum chassis on another but clueless on shock pistons, oil, springs etc.

I have the full assortment of Durango springs to work with though.

Please help
