I assume it is possible to update the software via PC / internet? do i need a specific cable or can it be done via the programming card? Not sure which version i am looking at but want to make sure it's not going to give me issues.

also would the 4274 motor you recommended (for my buggy) be good for a 1/8 truggy as well?

Thanks

Hey all, just about to pull the trigger on a new 150A combo but have heard that there is a brand new version out now.

The store i'm buying from says this is the latest model but how can i tell? Is there likely to be much difference? If its just software is and older version able to be updated via the net?

Another store is advertising theres as the newest release but is $30 more, which way to go??????

Need help asap

I have contacted hobbywing china, there's no newer version xerun 1/8 esc except newer software only.

The only new esc they are testing is the sc8 sensored esc.

I notice the motor wires are only 60mm long How is everyone connecting the esc to the motor, i would rather avoid the use of extra connectors if possible. What size are the bullets on the 4274 SD motor?

4mm, I never change them. I just use whatever came with it, except the batt plugs

Hello a did a search of this thread and didn't find any refrence to a problem a fellow racer is having

Only sometimes when he plugs in a battery and switches the esc on the motor fires up for a few seconds full throttle then stops.

He has the transmitter on first.

Here is what he has Spectrum DS3 Hobbywing 80A ESC Speedpassion 2200kv Motor

Any Ideas

I have not sat down to troubleshoot just looking for ideas

OK, so i assume the esc comes with bullets that join to the motor wires? Just cant find a single photo that shows the connectors.

Does anybody use the 2000kv system in a Hyper 9E?

I've just bought the 150a/2000kv system and have found that the included pinion gears with the Hobbywing ESC are the wrong pitch for the 9E spur gear and the included Hyper 9E 14T pinion is too small causing the motor to hit the drive cup.

So what gearing do you guys use to get around this? Thinking about getting the novak pinion gears in perhaps 15/16/17T and using the smallest I can get away with.

Will be running on 4S batteries.

Cheers

Depends what final drive ratio the 9E is?

but for what its worth I've been running a 14T with my 2200kv neu in my mbx6 and 6T (slightly slow in the truggy) and will be stepping up to a 15T with the 2000kv.
