This will be my second post
Few days ago, I was finished my conversion of Hyper ST PRO with Xerun M3A on board . I use pretty slow gearing like 11/52 and 12/52 with 4S lipo. Everything is fine, but I worried about motor temp. With that gearing, after five minutes run, motor temp are 129-136 F. Outside temp was 57 F.
So, Is this normal, or I should try replace this motor to another in my rcshop?
Best Regards and Thanks.

Default sort of off topic

Can I run the XERUN 4168 BL motor with my SpeedPassion GT V2.0 ESC in my 1/8th scale? Or does it make more sense to just by the 80A/4168 combo?

If your SP esc support 4s why not? Just make sure it doesn't overheat.

should be fine, just dont go over 176 F.

check the meshing & anything binding also. R u doing speed runs also?

I would suggest play in 10min segments. Let the motor n batt cool down.

Hi,
Is the xerun 80A enough for 4wd SCT on 2s? I'll be using Novak 4.5T 550 motor on it.
Thanks.
