If you want to be super-crazy, you can do a Power up to a Mamba Monster Combo for $250...its a drop in....80MPH.....although, I am not sure whether you can ever reach those speeds with a rally car body, LOL :-)
But what fun trying!!!

That would be awesome. I know there are a few great LCG options out there now but they are out my price range. This would be the perfect solution for us "budget racers"!

The wheel base of the rally chassis is at 13.2 inches roar max wheelbase is at 13.19 , the stock slash is at 12.75 . Wondering if 0.01 of a inch is going to be a big deal lol .

Happy Meal... I was way off on what I was talking about??? These look just like the test parts I was playing with and talking to Mike about. This is a Slash 4x4 with a LCG chassis and rally body? You were a real dick over small details.

Yeah, there is only so much that i can say. But this is not what you saw at TORC, just relaying info from those up top.

I just measured WB from wheel nut to wheel nut....its about 12.7.....but that is a gues-timate with a 12 inch ruler, so....12.75 makes sense.

I cant see any differences besides bumpers, body mounts and the jato size shocks they had. I guess maybe it was all a dream then.

The Rally release date is the 18th....the thought was that vehicles would be here this week,, but they did not get here on time

Some parts should be coming at that time, but I am not sure what. I wouldnt order those parts for a conversion yet, though....despite what some other people are saying...If I see them in stock, I will let you guys know and you can decide.

Wheelbase is technically the same, but I dont remember that the offset is on the new wheels.

If it uses the same gearboxes and arms the track should be the same , so it will use slash rears or slash 4x4s.

Name calling? Thomas is a messenger. Plain and simple. You had the privalage to see a r and d vehicle. You were asked to not leak that information. You did anyway. I also have r and d vehicles around being tested. I understand the thought of not wanting information floating around about things that may not happen. Thomas is also not privy to all that is going on within Traxxas. Just as my guys do not know what is going on in my office. Leaked information does not benefit anyone. He was doing his job. Plain and simple. Thomas bends over backwords for us rc'ers and to resort to name calling is uncalled for.

^ +1.

Any word on the new CVDs? Pictures? (Or do they look similar to the XO-1's driveshafts?)
