wyd is right regarding the Losi Springs, as they work well in the rear. Especially if you are running a conservative battery (5000 mah or less).

Well after a long wait I was finally able to get my shock caps in so I'm goin to do a full rebuild on the shocks so the shock fluids will get changed out this weekend at some point

Its nothing like that chassis. Its plastic like the stock chassis, a little tubbed like the stock. It sits lower that the diffs, kind of like the associated where the front and rear of the chassis is higher than the center. The motor mount is in about the same spot just below the spur rather than above. Its a really nice looking setup.

Not a rumor. This fact that Steve at STRC has a LCG chassis setup coming soon.

Ok since the cat is kinda out of the bag on Big Squid I figure its time to post about it. It is true that STRC is coming out with an LCG chassis setup for the 4x4 Slash. I don't have all the details from Steve at STRC but Steve and I will be testing the new setup in the next few weeks.

Its a prototype so not sure til I talk with Steve on how much of this will the final product. One thing I will say is the price point is what I think is fantastic at right at 99.95 and then if you use STRC products like been for the last 2 years or more you know he has nothing but top quality parts for the price. I don't expect any less quaility from Steve at STRC.

Even Traxxas makes an LCG setup more than likely it will be 100% molded and I'm guessing not much cheaper than the upcoming STRC setup so I know he will be selling a ton of these.

As soon as I get my prototype here fairly soon I will get it put together and as per Steve once I have the oK I will post pictures or Steve might have some on his site.

Stay tuned. Things are getting very exciting at TEAM STRC as Steve is working hard to get us racers/bashers the best quality parts for great prices.
