Is it worth changing to titanium screws all around to improve the weight or it wouldn't help that much? I'm trying to get the buggy's weight as close to it's nitro brother as I can.

I switched the majority of my screws to titanium and it saved about 20 grams or so. Its not alot but every little bit helps. Getting down under 3300 grams is going to be some work. My car was over 3580g before and I have since changed a few things that added some weight and a few things that took away some weight and I'm around 3560 right now.

Thanks hopsing!

So aside from titanium screws what other things did you do to make it lighter. To me lighter is not better but it would be nice to shave off just a tad bit more ..not much

...... 9E came with a black chassis, black steering knuckles, and obviously the motor mount and radio/battery tray. Converting the SE basically gets you a 9E but with anodized gunmetal parts. Converting a TKI gets you the lighter aluminum suspension balls, velvet shocks and hard coated aluminum parts, gold turnbuckles and the tall rear tower with long rear shocks.

I will place some pics when ready. I'v got the chassis and tractiondrive from Tekno but still waiting on some connectors etc. For the V4 kit you'll need a body based on the Losi 8ight E, I've got the Proline Slipstream for the testdrives, a Jconcepts Illusion for racing.

Should'nt be long before it's ready, got some pics in the Tekno thread already. I think it's more a Tekno build so don't know if I should post so many pictures in the Kyosho MP9e thread

Is there a huge difference between the TKI and TKI 2 versions. I am going to be using the Tekno V4 and was wondering if there were any major upgrades I should worry about from the TKI to TKI2? Thanks ahead of time for any help.

Does any one know what would be the best pinion to use for an MP9E (on 4s) with a Tekin 1900 kv motor and a 46 spur?

Thanks
