I would suggest the reedy 4600 4s that is the size of a 3s so it clears the body and it weights less then the smc shorty. Tower has them for $113 I believe.

Have you ran the reedy Lipo and like it?

Plenty of run time on a 1900?

Does anyone know the largest battery dimensions that will fit under the stock body?

Why is it that no one can answer a single question or advice to anything I post? Glad the Kyosho family has one anothers back. Would probably get more help asking these questions in the Tekno thread.

Start with 5/5/3 and go from there. I'm running a very close setup to Tebos Silver State setup and it was a great starting point.

Thanks man I appreciate it, was thinking of trying 5-4-2 or 5-5-2 any thoughts on that?

All 3 choices are pretty close.
I ended up going up a little in the middle for my outdoor tracks as I felt it was't getting even power front to rear on heavy acceleration (went to 7), so 5-7-3.

Im gonna give the 5-5-2 a try. As for the rear track width if I want to run a wider width I then have to purchase the 93mm universals correct?

I'm ok with the looks of the stock body but it is really thin so can't imagine it will hold up. Just got the kit on Monday so haven't ran it just started the build. Think I'm gonna order a cpl jc finisher bodies just wondering if they will clear the promatch 4s 138 x 39.5mm w x 37.5mm h I'm worried about the height.
