How does that motor plate differ from the Associated FT plate?

Not sure as I've never seen the FT one.

just some questions

any sugestions for gearing? I have a mmp with a 5700kv castle system running 16 84 right now

Also my wires coming out of the battery are running hot at 120 but the esc and motor both are about 130ish.

if your running deans plugs, make sure you are running a genuine one on both the battery and esc.....i had a fake chineese deans on my e buggy battery, and it was actually un-soldering my, and a few of my local racers solders at the plug......the wires were also getting very hot. hope this helps

Good afternoon folks! My 7 yr old son and I are just getting started with short course trucks and ordered an SC10 for our first truck.
We'll read through the thread and say thanks in advance for any answers we might pick up here.
Cheers!

Does anyone use the rear Sway Bar Kit for racing??

20 SMOKE 07-28-2011 07:23 AM

i have been trying to give the gear diff the benefit of the doubt but i think its time to go to the ball diff, way to loose coming out the corners

you'll feel a big difference punching it while coming out of a corner. i know i did, and took a few seconds off my lap times.

I ran the rear sway bar kit for the first time last week on a grooved track and really liked it.
Are there any changes that need to be made when using the rear sway bar kit?
Thanks

I had to engineer a front sway bar kit for my SC10..since AE does not make one. I really liked the improved rear traction I got and the reduction in body roll.

Does anyone know the Kyosho equivalent (part #) for the shock springs?
