I've heard of this being done. It might have been on rctech somewhere.

I've got a set of the "new revised" ones that I haven't used yet, a set of "old" ones that I filled before using, and a set of old ones I stripped and re-created. No problems that were not my own doing.

i gotta grab a front bulkhead tonight, i'll grab slash hexes and give it a try. it will be piece of mind if i don't have to worry about stripped wheels. i have 3 sets of goosebumps that have stripped wheels that need superglued or jb weld or whatever if anyone wants them.

if you dont want them ill take them and then take em back to ae and get new rims

Currently Im at 22 / 87 with 140 degrees on both the motor and esc. Its about the sweet spot for where I run.

i called ae and they will take care of my wheels but i told them i have goosebumps still on my wheels. they will send me 2 sets of premounted wheels and tires for my 2 sets of bad wheels!

yeah stock ones, not more goosebumps but its better than loosing tires all together. i won't be able to safely get my tires off my bad rims so this sounds like a good deal
