Default Matrix 9E Pro Kit.

Not yet. Though I'm considering taking the car down to the post office and using their scale. That or I can go over to the local Market and use the scale in the fruits and vegies area, I'll just put the Matrix 9e in a bag first :-)

When I get a scale I will post the weight of the Matrix 9e Pro Kit. The carbon fiber is super light. Robert is also working on side guards for the kit. As soon as I have any new information I'll post it here on this thread. You should contact Robert of Matrix Concepts Inc. regarding weight savings specifications.

Mindthoughts: How did you get the losi spur in there? I tried on the stock kit and it made the diff too long to fit between the bulkheads and the front drive cup didn't work?

question on the chassis kit: Can you get it with pre-drilled holes to mount the tekno mudguards?

Default mudguards

Mudguards would be awesome on the hyper 9e.

yeah, you can do it now with the Tekno ones for the stock chassis. I really don't know why they didn't do them by default, hopefully in a version 2.0 of the 9E they will do that.

Default chassis

I would put the mudguards on if i was good at chassis drilling but i might just switch to the carbonfiber chassis right away so i can use mudguards because the things that bothers me on the hyper 9 is that the body fit's so lose,Not snug like i or other people want.

Just use a VE8 body on the vehicle. it fits and is snug. Especially if you have the mudguards

nothing is announced at this time, but I wouldn't be surprised that they do eventually come out with something incorporating some performance changes, etc, and hopefully, some mudguards and a better fitting body. The current body on there definitely makes it feel like it was an after thought.

Default interesting

That would be interesting to see what changes they made if they made a 2.0.I think all of our cars will be better with of us talking about the carbon fiber and weight saving on this forum.

Default hyper 9e

I don't think much people even know about the hyper 9e because they here to much about the losi 8ight-e.For instance in my club there is 1 ve8,1 hyper 9e(mine),7 losi 8ight-e's,and 1 vorza. The losi is heard of more.

Called Nitrohouse and they will be getting more hyper 9es maybe next week Thursday. That is the next delivery from Ofna is scheduled for.

Asked about a 2.0 9e and they said they have not heard anything.

mindthoughts, I'm assuming you've already ran the car with all the carbon goodies since you said "The performance improvement is absolutely awesome." What did it do better than the stock, out of the box hyper 9e? Thanks
