Ok, hearing all the complaints about the ballcups, I finally had an issue with mine. Ballcup popped off going around a high speed corner yesterday after the straightaway, and my Durango "KO'd" the wall and broke the plastic front rear hinge pin holder. Nearly broke the wall too

I see the RPM part number, but my local hobby shop doesn't have them.

Will stock B4 / T4 bullcups work?

Thanks, Ron

The kit Durango ballstuds are a bit bigger than "regular" ballstuds so the B4/T4 cups won't work.

No, nearly a "full wood" impact though. I carry an ARS load of corner speed on that turn.

Any then there was silence

I finally got some track time at TRCR (indoor clay, awesome track) with my Rango and - WOW - this is the most enjoyable car I've ever driven! I still don't have a lot of racing experience so my skills aren't great but compared to my other cars this thing was a dream to drive (the 4wd helps!).

Strangely, the pin holding the front A-arm on ended up popping off while I was letting one of the other drivers at my track try it out. Nothing broke - the arm just fell off and we found the pin and washers laying in the dirt. Isn't that weird? I've never seen that happen before. He had just landed a clean jump when it popped out. Not sure how to prevent that from happening again...

I saw one of these cars put together with electronics and all yesterday. It looked REALLY sweet. Can't wait to see it running and see how it really performs.

is the pro kit worth a extra 300?

what upgrades are recommended for the R

seems like the main upgrade for the R is
ball cups & suspension mount.

Will be running mine today. If there are any other weak spots I will let you know. I am an expert at finding out just how well a car holds up.

thanks.

300 doesnt seem to justify the extra parts you get. you can prob buy a R and replace all the parts to the pro for around 300?

I wonder is your front pin holding the a-Arm wasnt put in with the flat spot not facing right so the grubscrew didnt lock it in thats the only thing i can think of
