Anyway, I believe I am in the home stretch of my build. I will paint my practice body this weekend and my race shell should be here today.

There's already a thread started on it, looks really nice. Would you know a ballpark release date yet?

The latest news on the Team-Durango website is that the DNX408 has been released for production so I would expect to see them shortly . . .

Now who is gonna make an EP conversion kit for this ride?

I have two of these packs and are sized to fit. If you would like I can take photos in and out of the car so you can see how they are wired.

Oh man! I got a little tear in my eye when I saw that thing. Those are renderings of CAD models so I wonder when we might actually see this car for sale. Hopefully for Christmas! I dunno because I have completely grown to love my Losi 8ight-E. I wonder if I should wait to see how it performs before jumping ship?

My Durango Vendor cannot say for sure when any of the new cars will be released but early speculation has the DEX408 being released early 2011.

DNX408 is believed to be released in December '10.

Early reports also have it that the electric ride uses the same front and rear clips so in theory you COULD convert your nitro ride over if you bought all the chassis details. I'm willing to guess that this will be cost prohibitive though. LOL

Anyway, enough with the derailing, I just thought this new E car looked awesome enough to post over here...

The Orion Saddles are among the best on the market. I would not recommend the ones that have the Deans plugs prewired though. The bullet plug ones will be much easier to fit and find places for the wires.

Well I have not ran the packs yet since I am still building my buggy. The earliest I will know how they perform will be tomorrow. I will at least confirm they fit and let you know. I am loyal to Orion for 1/10th as well!

I have one of those packs brand new in the box if you're interested. They come with a Deans attached.
