I run Venom 5000mah 40-50c in my 2wd stuff and it's been super good to me. I've had a lot better luck with the venoms than other name brand stuff

Just ordered the DEX410 from A-Main. The part number is TDR102001 which matches to the 2010spec from the Team Durango website? Can someone confirm the part number from the 2009 version?

Hope this is as strong as the 1/8 buggies?

Default tire update

If you go here:
team-durango.com/race-cars/dex410/gallery/

It says dBoots Terrabyte on the tires, but I can't seem to find them for sale anywhere! These look like a really good tire. . . I want to buy them.

P.S. I think the DEX is very durable. The thing is, it's so wicked fast that if you're not careful you will break it.

The older version came with 2000wt. There is only one version of the "R". That's 2010.

It will say 2010 spec on the box and I believe the part number TD102001 is new to the updated release.

Thanks, I stand corrected. Maybe that's just in Reg. Dex then. Sorry.

I just got in a DEX410 PRO KIT and on the front of the box before the DEX name it say's 2010 spec on it.
It has part number TD102001 on it.
So from what i have seen,if its a 2010spec kit it will say it on the box.

i had the 2009 version and i never broked any plastic parts... except :

- Ball stud came loose and unpop
- Wheel pin (i replaced with hard steel pin and after that, never had the problem again)
- shock cap loose (oil leaking by the shock cap when the pression is too heavy
- Diff leaking (changed the oring with kyosho p4 and never had the problem again)

But as the losi 8ight, the DEX410 need time to be fully broken in

If you purchased your kits from a hobby shop in the United States they are 2010 Kits from HRP Distribution. 2009 Kits where never moved threw HRP.

JT: I bought my kit at a local hobby store and it came from HRP. He received it Friday. It had 2000 diff fluid in the box. Don't know if that signifies a 2009 kit or 2010 kit. I don't really care one way or the other, just letting people know.
