I'm using Thunder Power 2S (x2) 5400mah 35C packs. These are great lipos. Easily more powerful than some 50C rated IP batteries I also have.

I just got a 8b conversion kit. Only problem I'm having is the plastic motor support don't seem to fit under my tekin 1900kv motor. Am I doing something wrong? Is it required?

Leave it off...... Makes the motor quieter and some have reported stripped gears when chassis flex pushes the rear of the motor up..... Binding occurs

+1. No good can come for leaving that brace on.

What battery capacity do I need to get 10 min run times with a 1900kv motor? Would 4S 3800 mah be enough?

We have been getting up to 15 minutes with a 4S, 6400 mAh, 70c in combanition with the RX8-1900Kv safely at race pace, but haven't pushed it further and very seldom race past 10 minutes.

I've hit LVC just past the 15 min mark in a 15 min race on a large 1/8 scale track with a 1900 and 5600 mah 50C battery.
