thank you.

No motor brace but you Need the diff riser to allow the spur to spin free without binding...Also plugging the old spur hole is nice.

Do Not use the motor brace it Will cause stripped spurs and un needed flex in the motor.

I shim my diff with a .1 on the mount side and i was even forced to shim the part of the mount you bolt to the motor itself...Needed 2 .1's under the mounting bolts or i couldn't slide it into the main mount.

Default the weekend?

Hey casper how was ur Saturday at the outdoor race? Hey June I did find bearings in the rear hubs that I changed out cause they was bad. And I set my gear mesh alittle looser and cut some vents in side of the body and made a roof vent for more cooling. And the.temps was 150 on the motor and 105 speed control. The main temps was 165 motor and 100 on speed control. The gearing was 13-45.

My race on Sunday went great. I qualified 2nd and finished 2nd. Outside temps were not nearly as hot as I was expecting. Only around 85. Motor temps were only around 110 with the heat sink. My buddy who ran without the heat sink only had motor temps around 125. 1700/4S setup.

Traction was not as good as could be expected either but it was a fun race on a pretty small track. After 10 min race I only lost by 1.5 sec or so. There was a 3 way battle in the front for most all of the race as the top three Losi cars put a lap or more on the field during the main for a losi sweep of the podium!

165 after a main is ok. Assuming you are ok with the performance I think you are good there!

Yeah. It is the one JBRL race a year we go up the day before and stay up there. Too long a day to get up early and drive up early and drive all the way back.

I would switch to a 2200kv motor and a 14 or 15t pinion with a 4s battery.

You'll get better runtime with a low KV motor and higher cell count battery. Pound for pound that is.

FlyingFINN the v2 shocktower is for the 2.0 truggy, so no it won't fit.

you need a 10 tooth pinnion with a metal 45 tooth spur,or go to a 3s lipo. that motor is way to much power for a track. on 3s is better to handle. turn the punch control to 100% and 0 on timming would make it better with 4s. but i never tried that, i went to a 1800 kv from castle.
