I was listening to one of the 2-wheel A qualifiers today, and the announcer said something about some of the Associated guys not running the standard BK Bar like normal. He said it was a new pro-line tire. Is he confusing this with the new Bar Codes from Jconcepts, or is Pro-line going to get back into the 1/10th tire war? Any info would be appreciated.

I heard that it was a new Pro Line tire, but I have not heard much about it yet.

The new pro-line is very similar to the losi taper pin , cept a extra set of bars in the middle and no rib on the out side edge...
I driven with a set , a good tire my impression.....

Erm...I thought they were using Losi control tires for the nats. I didn't think anyone was allowed to use anything else. Last I heard, the tires had to be tech'ed in the package with the header card, to be used...unless they made some last minute change, which would surprise me.

From what I understand, mod classes were free to use any tire they want. The control tire was for stock and super stock classes.
