Nobody is more anxious than I am to get them sold...I have more than a little money and time invested in them.

I'll post it here as soon as I have them in-hand and ready to ship. If anyone wants them un-anodized, I can get them to you a little quicker. The broaching place says they'll have them done by the middle of next week, so if they're good to go, I could send some out then.

Soooo..I take it nobody has a strong opinions on the anodizing? LOL Lime green ok?

That's what I was thinking.

I'd really just like some way to tell them apart. There's only .020" difference between them, but they're not interchangeable -- and I have 300 of them to package up, so I want to be able spot them and make sure that the right ones go to the right place.

Plus, they'll look nicer.

I run a 76/33 with my 17.5 Novak in a RB5 and that's the largest pinion that will fit with this combination due to the design of the gear cover. Does anybody know if there is another 48p spur out there that will fit on the RB5 in the 74 to 75 range that will fit on the RB5, or how I get a larger pinion on there like a 34 or 35 that will not rub the cover.
Thanks

If you read through this thread, you'll see that is what this thread is about. The adapter allows you to put on a smaller spur gear so you can gear up your 17.5

I've been running a yokomo 39t 48p pinion and the 76 spur for a while now which is exactly the same ratio as the 65/32 set up your using. I keep ruining gears because of the fact a gear cover won't go over the 39t pinion. I won't be racing my rb5 for about a month and a half. I'll want one of your conversions in a few weeks. Looks awesome man. thanks for making these available.

Yep I read it, but how do you get a pinion bigger than a 33t on because of the gear cover design. If I put on a smaller spur will this eliminate the bigger pinion's from rubbing against the cover.

I have run a 34 pinion on my B4 and there was no problems. It gets tight for sure but no rubbing or anything. The great thing about this adapter is when you run in the 70t spur range you have tuning options as far as gearing again with a 17.5.

Yes. It'll allow you to run a smaller spur. Testing this piece, I ran a 65 tooth spur on my RB5.

We've run up to 34 pinions...but since the spurs can be so much smaller...and you can move the motor up closer, a) the pinions have a little more clearance in that part of the cover, but...b) you don't really need the huge pinions.
